The trigger itself is very "mil-spec-ish", but don't even think about quick double taps. Currently it is completely in- compatible with AR-style drop-in triggers. The announced M2 version, upgraded second batch, should solve this problem. Before writing this words, for more than month, we have put through around 1000 rounds. It is not much, so we can't say anything about reli- ability right now, but we can share some experi- ences with you. General comments The GROT S16 is a well-made product. All the metal and polymer parts are high quality. We will see how it will withstand use and abuse, but first impressions are positive. Only problem we found is the cutter mark on the bolt carrier. After use, we only found some scratches on the polymer case deflector and their number is growing, but it is just a plastic part without any impact on the weapon reliability. Plus, it is attached with two screws and can be replaced quickly if abused. The polymer transport case is not a top-notch bombproof rugged one, think more about Walmart budget one. But it is free and it comes with the rifle. It is foam-lined, has comfortable grip and solid lock. It will fit GROT with optics easily, but frankly speaking, bigger case would be far better. The weapon cleaning kit is really impressive. It comes with cleaning rod, rip-cord, set of brush- es, cleaning liquid bottle and some cotton patch- es. Everything is neatly packed in the pouch. Ergonomics. A top-notch. Basically as in the mil- itary rifle, except the fire control group. You will need some practice before transition from the AR or AK, because some shooters, even the experienced ones, tried to release bolt with the non-existing lever on the left of the lower receiv-
