FIREARMS The GROT S16 is fed from AR STANAG type magazines, but not all types and brands are compatible. According to manual, and we con- firmed that in real life, the Magpul PMAG GEN M3 is not compatible with the rifle. Weird, as it's the PMAG which is finally compatible with a bunch of different rifles to include SCAR-L, HK416 and other. There was also a weird prob- lem with C Product Defense 30 round stainless steel magazine. We are able to put in the mag- azine well, but… it stayed there. The magazine release button was just jammed. We tried to pull it out with a lot of force, but we failed. The only way to get it out, was to access the lower re- ceiver and smash the magazine directly from the top. No problems were found with Lancer System L5-AWMs, Magpul PMAGs M2, Sure- fire 60 round aluminum magazine or standard USGI aluminum magazines. In future, we will also check how does it work with some other mags. The magazine which comes with the factory is a translucent polymer 30 round magazine. It has solid and textured walls for better grip during re- loads. The semi-transparent body allows quick determination of approximate number of rounds remaining in the magazine, there are also 20 and 30 round indicators on the sides. The maga- zine floor features the logo of Fabryka Broni. No problems with magazines to this moment. Sadly, rifle comes only with a single magazine. What happened few times was the fact, that bolt didn't stay back after last round was fired. We couldn't determinate why the problem occurred as it was totally random. Different magazines, different rounds, cleaned or not cleaned gun… It just happened.
