2019 marks 20 years of Magpul and com-
pany launched couple of new products
to celebrate the anniversary. There are
some new DAKA pouches, there is a first
Mapul's knife (Raider), some furniture
for CZ Scorpion EVO 3 SMG (including
Magpul polymer magazine), polymer lo-
wer receiver, upgraded handguard and en-
larged selector switch for ol' but firm HK
MP-5. But the product I liked most is the
PMAG® D-50™ LR/SR GEN M3™ 50 roun-
der, a drum magazine for .308 chambered
AR-10 rifles.

Remember the story about the SIG Sauer MCX Rattler ultra-short barreled rifle? The USSOCOM was
looking for highly-concealable ultra-compact rifle which could be easily stashed in bag or backpack.
The Rattler was chosen, but there were couple other competitors. One of them was unveiled during the
SHOT 2019, the Maxim Defense PDW with 5.5" barrel and SCW collapsible stock. The overall length of
the rifle is 18.75" as per program requirements. Maxim Defense PDW will be available in two calibers:
5.56 NATO and Russian 7.62x39. Comes from factory with very effective HATEBRAK muzzle device and
ALG Combat Trigger assembled.
