Far East country. The outer shell is thin satin nylon
fabric with really nice touch in graphite-black color. It
is advertised as Black but it definitely has some blue
tint. The lining is also thin nylon fabric patterned with
Carinthia logo. Note for all military users: this jacket
is from commercial line, so no NIR compliant fabrics
were included.
Jacket is a simple as possible. First victim of
streamlining was the hood. If you ever had to spend
some time in wind and snow, you know how important
it is. There is no hood in Ultra Jacket. Next part to be
removed is adjustable hem. The shock cord with reg-
ulator would improve fit, but there is only an elastic
hem here. I can understand lack of hood, but the thing
I really don't like in Ultra Jacket is two-part design
of the sleeves without insulation in the elbow area.
