One of my still unfulfilled dreams is to have a pantry full of miscellaneous things useful for hard times. You know: canned food, preserves and marinades arranged neatly on the shelves, pieces of bacon and cold meat hanging from the ceiling, blocks of cheese, barrels with pickles. I invest in sim- ple organic compounds, the simpler and less processed – the better for me and for them. Of course, the pantry is under constant construction. However, I prepared a list of products that it must include: products of indefinite or long shelf life. Things that can be stored under the ground for a very long time, while waiting for the arrival of the local militia that, in the best scenario, will only hit us in the face, take everything that can be taken, and then eat the family and rape the dog (or vice versa).
