The magazine well is flared for faster reloads. SKW .308 is com- patible with .308 SR-25/M110 style 10 or 20 rds magazines such as: Ä Magpul PMAG LR/SR Gen M3, Ä IMI G2 7,62x51, Ä Lancer L7AWM, Ä Steel magazines (CPD) Ä Aluminum magazines (tested, but not recommended) For SKW .338, the custom magazine based on AR-15 one was developed. It has steel body and 10 round capacity. The main dif- ference is the opening for bolt catch. The available magazine does not have this feature because they were developed for bolt-rifles. SKW family has AR-15 type stock assembly system, even it lacks the buffer tube. This allows attachment of multiple stocks, both fixed and foldable, within AR-15 standard. A precision shoot- ing stocks with rail attachment for monopod can be also used. The SKW rifles to this moment were assembled with following stocks: Magpul PRS Gen 3, CTR, UBR and Luthar MBA-3. Current- ly, ZMT is discussing development of dedicated SKW stock with some of the manufacturers. The stock assembly system has two versions: fixed and folded with hinge. This will allow to use all, even fixed stocks, as right-side folders. Left-side folding version will be offered as an option. Fixed attachments shave off 100 grams of weight. The sling attach- ment points are located on the back of stock assembly (single QD attachment point on the bottom and two hook attachment points on the sides), on the stock (depending on the model) and M-LOK/ KeyMod mounted sling attachment points on the handguard. Rifles feature couple of adjustment points to minimize wobbling of stock and handguard and to adjust trigger travel with Allen key. The upper and lower receiver and handguard are connected with four takedown pins which remain during the field stripping. Pins might be pushed (or removed) even with casing. SKW receivers are hard-anodized in Black. They can be Cera- koted to Flat Dark Earth, Olive Green, Grey, Black or RAL 8000 or other Cerakote color. Black rifle can be painted or anodized. All steel parts are nitride or phosphate for improved non-corrosion than oxidation.
