CRYE PRECISION
Since 2018, the famous Crye Precision of
Brooklyn, NY, displays only the products
which will become available for purchase
in the same year. There is not much stuff
for 2019, but most important is the G4 Hot
Weather Combat Uniform, a derivative of G4
Combat Uniform developed for hot and humid
jungle environment. The uniform features
lightweight 100% nylon fabric which was
recently developed for USSOCOM, which is
highly breathable and quick drying. It's not FR
but for jungle warfare it wasn't a priority. The
interesting fact was the torso of combat shirt
from Multicam-patterned breathable fabric –
usually, Crye was using solid color fabrics for
combat shirts. Uniforms has some features
based on more traditional jungle uniforms,
like all button closed pockets.
