BOOM! Thanks to ZM Tarnów, we were able to put some rounds downrange from .308 SKW. It wasn't a test, just kind of familiarization exercise to see how they works. Please do not consider this report as any of T&E report, it's just an initial feedback. None of us is a long range shooter, so our feedback is not ultimate and definite opinion. Plus, our effectiveness on 100 meters distance was… silly at least. SKW rifles are pretty heavy, but it is caused due the caliber, dimensions and the materials used in construction. SKW shoots with powerful rifle rounds and the weight decreases the recoil forc- es. Weapon is controllable, steady and easy to re- aim. Muzzle device is also very effective. Accuracy. As we have mentioned, we are not skilled snipers and we were shooting the SKW's for the first time ever. The 20" rifle was equipped 20-power Schmidt & Bender Ultra Short Dot 3-20x50 PM2 scope and the 16" had Elcan Spec- terDR 1.5-6 scope. Lotos preferred the 16-inch barreled rifle (see the target with 5 shots fired in less than 15 seconds). Maciej had similar feelings, but Mike opted for longer barrel, more powerful scope and slower shooting. Unfortu- nately, the range was just 100 meters long, so we couldn't check the accuracy on the longer distances. But we saw the targets of more expe- rienced shooters and they confirm that rifles are accurate. FIREARMS
