Are classes cyclic or you can attend only when you want? Bruce: The BCS is a system based on a program. Every module consists of eight classes (two hours each). For the most effective development of student's skills we have decided to keep the groups closed. Every class has some fitness and shooting related workouts to complete which are required on the next session. Every module is completed with exam. Last exam was passed only by 60% of students. The closed groups' formula improves skills development and increase safety of students. As an instructor I know people who I train, I can measure their skills and abilities, so the training might be custom tailored. It will be challenging but still safe. Of course, we all know that some people want "try before buy" so we offer one-time possibility to attend training class. Sometimes we are doing the open-door trainings announced on our website or Facebook. We are co-hosts of shooting challenges in Poland where we promote our system. Tomek: Training cycle is a complete whole. Does the training increase risk of injuries? Bruce: From the instructor's point of view, every class increases the risk of injury when compared with individual session (we offer these too). During the BCS class, there are two instructors and maximum 12 students. Our skills are supplemental to each other, but in shooting training, Tomek takes the lead. I am responsible for fitness part. This means that students receive clear and precise commands, and this leads to safe training. Any violation of safety rules, lack of obedience, etc. are not tolerated and the effect might be a permanent ban without cash return. We cannot eliminate all incidents, but we can minimize the risks, and we are quite successful. Tomek: From the shooters point of view — no. We watch if all the weapon handling is carried out in safe and proper way. Some negligence may happen, but we are here to learn how to avoid the mistakes. TRAINING
