Zhukovskiy, straight to the static display. The famous airfield is full of
relics, and it seems almost weird that there were not many more unique
designs presented in the static. Walking around the static display one
can even spot the Buran space shuttle in the bushes.
MiG 1.44 was another of the prototypes presented along the Berkut.
It is also perceived as one of the steps on the Russian path towards
development of the Su-57 fifth generation airframe. What is peculiar,
1.44 is always positioned in the static display in a way that makes it
