Both MSBS and ACR are modu- lar designs. They can be customi- zed by end user. Currently, there are at least three different stocks, three caliber conversion kits, ad- ditional barrels and two different versions of lower receivers availa- ble for ACR from manufacturers. There are also multiple available parts from different vendors, but ACR (due the price and limited availability) wasn't a commercial success. For MSBS 10.5" is in the works, there should be also an AR stock adapter and new lower re- ceiver compatible with AR-style triggers. Some of them were alre- ady displayed on the MSPO 2019 trade show but are still not availa- ble for purchase. To summarize, there are many similarities between ACR and MSBS, definitely more than be- tween SCAR and MSBS. Some solutions are better in ACR (gas regulator, quick change barrel) and some are better in MSBS (di- sassembly procedure, better pla- cement of QD points, ambidextro- us ejection ports). And, the MSBS might be potentially converted to bull-pup rifle. No doubt, ACR/ Masada rifle had big influence on MSBS designers, but Polish we- apon can't be called a copy.
