APX slide is stainless steel nitri-
ded in black. The slide has uniquely
designed serrations in the front and
rear parts. There are four wide tra-
pezoid-shaped serrations for faster
reloads and press checks. They look
awkward-ish, but hey, it's Italian desi-
gn! And in fact, they work pretty well.
Some may like the way APX looks,
but it will never be a Miss Universe.
The three-dot factory iron sights are
stainless. Near the rear sight, there
is loaded chamber indicator.
108 mm long barrel is also nitride
and features low-bore axis for better
muzzle rise control.
Gun features ambidextrous slide
release lever. There is also disas-
sembly lever on the left side of the
frame and small button (striker de-
activator) on the rear for those who
dislikes pulling the trigger to take a
handgun apart. In the front of the
frame there is a short MIL-STD-1913
accessory rail for lights or laser po-
inters.
