Chris "Cpt. America" I have never been Beretta fan, but APX was a positive surprise. These are really decent quality guns. From the ergonomics point of view, they are similar to Glock Gen 4s, but with some improvements. Large trigger guard allows for use of even thick gloves. Beaver tail is deeper and more curved. APX is controllable during shooting and in the hands of skilled shooter, the muzzle rise will be not existent. Big thumbs up for the shape of trigger shoe and very short reset. Short and smooth trigger travel translates to quick and accurate shots, in the gun straight from the box. Iron sights are typical for modern duty pistol. Wide rear sights and iron sights with three-dots is not meant for precision shooting at all. The layout of the dots is different than "traditional" one as the front dot is way bigger than rear ones. In gun with tritium sights, dots are same. Even the slide is not densely ser- rated, the serrations provide eno- ugh traction for reloads and press checks. Three serrations designed as a thumb rest are too shallow if shooting bare handed. There is not enough traction, especially during fast shooting. Well, this can be im- proved. Hello there, Mr. Dremel. I am really happy to see that APX is another gun with serialized fire control group and interchangeable frame housing. End user can pur- chase different frames in different colors or buy the frame for impro- ving stippling skills. Beretta APX is dope! FIREARMS
