Latest variant of all-terrain armored BvS10 tracked twin-cab vehicle. It featured the Generic Vehicle Architecture de-
sign of the electronic and power architecture of UK military vehicles, where all the vehicle electronic systems are
integrated, and data are shown on the displays. GVA allows integration of mission planning and battle managements
systems between allies and improves crew training. The BvS 10 was equipped with cameras and displays increasing
combat awareness of the crew.
Archer Artillery System is well-known next-generation self-propelled gun system. Gun might be
mounted on different carriers such as Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles HX2 8x8 truck (see the
photos). Main armament is 155 mm L/52 FH 77B howitzer. Maximum range is up to 40 km with
base-bleed rounds or even up to 70 km with extended range shells.
Three-men crew is located in armored crew compartment. Archer gun platform carries 21 shells
in automatic magazine. Rate of fire is 8-9 rounds per minute.
