The L3Harris was formed from L3 Technologies and Harris Corpo-
ration. Their latest BNVD-1531, as recently chosen by USMC, was
displayed with Gen 3 Omni VIII WP tubes. On 6th September 2019,
United States Marine Corps ordered Squad Binocular Night Vision
Goggles (SBNVG) from L3Harris. Goggles housing was designed by
Greek Theon Sensors (as NYX) and design was sold to Harris. Assem-
bly of devices is finalized in Unites States. It should be mentioned
that the USMC contract will be completed by new company, Elbit
Systems of America, which bought Harris night vision department
from L3Harris just before the DSEI.
Canik is a Turkish firearms manufacturer, mostly known by their TP9 9 mm pistols reaching more and
more customers in USA and Europe, including government users. Multiple variants of TP9 handguns
were displayed.
British Thermoteknix is best known from their
ClipIR thermal clip-on for night vision devices,
which allows for thermal & night vision fusion
effect. The latest addition company's portfolio
is ClipIR XD with extended detection range and
in-built digital compass (CMD). It will be avail-
able in two versions, AA-powered XD-B and
external-powered XD-E.
