FalCom is brand of GN Group, leader in audio solutions. They unveiled the OTE2000 active hearing protection communi-
cation headsets with patented natural hear geometry, left/right position canceling boom microphone. The microphones
are not mounted in the from part of ear cups, but on the sides.
Platatac is a tactical side of Australian Platypus Outdoor Group. The DSEI 2019 display featured two
interesting uniforms. Platatac Jungle Uniform featured the Apocalyps 100% nylon rip-stop fabric
in Multicam camouflage pattern (same fabric as the Burlington company developed for USSOCOM
requirements). Uniform (Jungle DAX pants, KURTZ Jungle Shirt and boonie hat) has very minimal-
istic cut and is almost feature-less. MALOU (Maritime Amphibious Littoral Operations Uniform) was
designed for OTB/VBSS operations. It features DAX combat pants and CUTS combat shirt made from
stretchable Agility fabric (98% nylon 2% lycra). Uniforms were augmented with jungle belt-kit and
maritime plate carrier.
