Hot bath prevents COVID-19
A hot bath does not protect one from the COVID-19 infection.
Normal human body temperature ranges from 36.5 to 37 degrees
centigrade, regardless of the water temperature in the bathtub or
under the shower. In reality, taking a hot bath could be hazardous -
you may simply burn yourself which, still, would have no impact on
the potential development of the disease.
The new coronavirus can be transmitted by mosquito bites.
Up until now, no information or scientific proof has been suggesting
that the new coronavirus can be spread by mosquitoes. SARS-
-CoV-2 is a respiratory tract virus that uses airborne transmission
when the infected person coughs or sneezes. The probability that
mosquitoes can carry the virus is very low.
Hand-dryers effectively kill the new coronavirus
No, hand dryers do not exhibit any effectiveness in the inactivation
of any virus. It is just the opposite, as they spray droplets of water
in the air, heightening the risk of contaminating the surfaces aro-
und. To protect oneself from SARS-CoV-2, one needs to wash one's
hands with soap and water frequently and then dry those hands
using single-use paper towels (when using toilets away from where
we live) or own towels, at home.
