entity delivers a vessel design, which would be followed by the building of the hulls and setting them up in Poland, whereas the majority of the systems, armament included, should be procured abroad, shall be viewed as a natural pro- cess for nations that have a certain industrial potential in the domain, by no means being the domain leader. However, adopting a process as such makes it possible to maintain the domestic shipbuilding potential - and this is very important, as the newly acquired vessels will need to go through over- hauls and upgrades from time to time. Secondly, this method also allows enterprises, such as the War Shipyard, to acquire invaluable experience and new manufacturing capacity. This, on the other hand, means that more procurement is possible at domestic facilities, not only when it comes to large surface combatants. Last, but not least, becoming a part of a cooper- ative network also makes it possible to expand the export of- fer. All of the above means that it is quite difficult to consider the Navy shipbuilding concepts, without taking the industry into account, especially the highly specialized facilities, such as the „Stocznia Wojenna".
