Mountains) and Góry Sowie (Owl Mountains). I have been using it in both spring and winter, in all kinds of weather. During the several dozen kilometer long trips on the trails of Sudety Mountains it was attached outside a 60-liter pack. The temperatures were ranging from -15°C in December to +20°C in May/June. There were a couple positive surprises during that time. Despite its weight, the Observer Plus is quite compact when packed and even its setup in the wind and snow was a piece of cake. Another thing was the space! In the front you can easily store boots, thermos (vacuum flask) and even a large DSLR camera. The dome over the head and torso is roomy enough to make a cup of tea or to eat something. OK, you won't be able to sit there, but it is not a full- size tent for sake! The Observer Plus always provided an excellent protection against the wind, rain or snow. Just as expected. The dual entries allow to keep the proper temperature inside, which is crucial in the warm weather. Both flaps might be left opened for air flow but the mosquito nets will keep the unwanted guests like flies or mosquitos outside. The craftsmanship of the shelters is unmatched. All seams are straight, clean and taped for waterproofing. Zippers are working well and all snaps too. Proudly made in the EU its not just a slogan. During the use it appeared that with a backpack placed near feet, the outer fabric might be stretched out a bit, so it won't touch a dormant. Operating the DSLR on a small tripod from the inside of the shelter was very comfortable even the lens used to shoot wildlife is huge. Well, the Observer Plus was designed with snipers and spotters in mind. Obviously, there are some drawbacks, but they are specific to the overall idea of such shelter. EQUIPMENT
