the Rosomak S.A. and the cooperating businesses a strong im- pulse to grow. As the most modern wheeled APC in the world was being "polonized", even after two decades since its incep- tion, the vehicle is still quite modern and it meets the battlefield requirements. On the other hand, the Hitfist-30P-related issues (the original version of which was developed in 1986) and the inconsistent approach that the Italians exhibited towards their commitments, resulted in a launch of the ZSSW-30 program that, after 8 years, would finally come to an end resulting in de- velopment and manufacturing of a modern and successful unmanned turret solution integrated with ATGMs. The turret has been developed and would be manufactured locally, in Po- land, giving the Polish industry the full scope of rights to the design and also making it possible to domestically manage the lifecycle cost. At the same time, the Hitfist-30P has not been forgotten. Rosomak S.A. has already developed an upgrade package rectifying most of the pain points in case of that turret, also allowing for Spike ATGM integration. A potential Hitfist-30P MLU could be a good gap-filler before saturation of the invento- ry with the ZSSW-30 solution, especially in the light of the fact that upgrade as such would have no impact on the manufac- turing of the Polish unmanned turret system. On the other side of the equation, we can find the Armed Forces. It took one decade to equip almost one out of three brigades. The specialist variants of the vehicle will soon be received by the military. Here, many problems are present. This also applies to potential export activities. None of the defense industry busi- nesses can export sophisticated products without any political support and with the Armed Forces hampering the undertaken activities. For the Polish Armed Forces, any export project is viewed as a process that would disclose the potential technolo- gical secrets associated with the military equipment operated by them. This approach has been gradually changing, since www.fragoutmag.com
