APC in Polish Armed Forces ROSOMAK 2018. Nonetheless, the lack of export successes can be associa- ted with that stance. One needs to hope that the above circu- mstances would soon become a thing of the past, with some of the negotiated contracts becoming a successful reality soon enough. The future of the Rosomak program seems to be bright though. The specialist variants will be mass delivered to the Polish mili- tary during the current decade, with the new ZSSW-30 turret becoming a primary armament set for the wheeled IFVs. There- fore, the undisputed success of the polonization process carried out at Rosomak S.A., as well as the success related to the use of the platform during the foreign deployments should be projec- ted onto the whole system of the Polish Armed Forces, within the framework of a new structure. One needs to remember that the changes related to the establishment of the 18th division yet again forced the responsible entities to redefine the program. Ultimately four brigades would use the wheeled APC as their founding platform. This, on the other hand, would translate into the manufacturing of the new vehicles. It may turn out that the carrier platform would need to be brand new, to meet the requirements of a newly launched „Serwal" program, initiated by the Polish MoD, to acquire a new wheeled APC (Nowy Kołowy Transporter Opancerzony - NKTO). Many symptoms are suggesting that Rosomak-XP (polonized AMV-XP) would become a new wheeled APC in Poland. If ma- nufactured in Poland, the new platform could repeat the suc- cess of its predecessor. This matter would be outlined for the FRAG OUT! readers in the upcoming issues of the magazine. VEHICLES
