(ever popular alloy in firearms industry). The weight of the complete handguard was about 150 grams less than legacy wooden one which came with my AKSU. The handguard was polished and hard-an- odized to the flat black color. It looks out- standing and it is now protected against im- pacts, etc. The geometry of the handguard fits the shape of the rifle perfectly and is connected to the gun in the very same loca- tions as the wooden handguard. The number of contact points between barrel and hand- guard is kept to the minimum, so it won't heat up rapidly even during the intensive fire. As small as it is, it still has a number of M-LOK slots for additional accessories on the side. This increases the overall modu- larity of the handguard and allows to attach the remote switch in the middle of the hand- guard. Maybe I shouldn't tell you that, but I have never seen a M-LOK Krinkov hand- guard with so many attachment points as ours. FIREARMS
