PROS: Quickly changeable barrel and handguard – modularity Once on the range, my friend with whom I was with and who doesn't know much about guns, loaded a 5,45x39 rounds (I have an AKS74U as well) which ended with a hideous jammed round in the chamber but thanks to that quick detach option we solved the issue in the blink of an eye. 3 QD points of sling mount Modern design Wysokiej jakości manipulatory High quality controls – compatible and interchangeable with ar15 parts Folding stock – 11" MCX for European market comes telescopic PDW stock (two guide rods). The disadvantage here is the way it is attached to a rifle, even when retracted it still makes the rifle 10 cm longer. When sho- oting or even trying to use sights, guide rods caught my beard and I had a hard time of getting it released. I replaced it with a standard telescopic stock from a 16" v ersion as it is more minimalistic and allows better use with an armor on. Moreover, with a folded stock, the rifle fits in the most bac- kpacks out there on the market without problems. Due to the way the rifle is constructed, you can still fire with a stock folded. Cleanliness – what can be said here? As it is a piston driven gas sys- tem, even when using silencer it is still very clean and it's not so over-gas- sed as it is in most AR15. CONS: Weight – it weighs almost three kilograms and with all attachments it's more than 5kg! But remember, it's not the rifle that is heavy, it is you lack of muscle :P Price – after new year prices went up and right now are about 2.6K-3K EUR Add-ons – there are plenty of parts for Virtus such as stocks or handgu- ards. Problem is their availability in Europe so if you are not able to get them by yourselves, you will be left with a distributor and higher prices :) FIREARMS
