are embroidered on the shirt and pants. Definitely, the designers are proud of their piece of work. Vanguard is a premium product. Professional user will notice the tiny details and won't be crying when paying. One thing I wish to see is the Wolf Grey color theme. R a b b i t : Direct Action Vanguard Combat Uniform was the thing I was waiting for a long time. DA guys announced it a long time ago. Since the very beginning the uniform was announced I was waiting patiently to see how it will perform. Since almost a year I finally had the opportunity to try it out and I must confess it is my basic uniform for the shooting range trips. Except the bad weather when Crye Precision All Weather Combat Uniform is my first choice. I also use the pants for casual wear and general use. The fabrics in Vanguard are premium ones. They are quality ones. Not stiff but flexible and meets all the military specifications. The Polartec knit on the body of the combat shirt is a top-notch moisture wicking fabric. The Cordura 500D on knees is lightweight, soft in touch and durable, even without looking as such one. The YKK zippers and Velcro hook and loop were just as necessary. Premium fabrics = premium price, but it is pretty obvious, isn't it? Cut & design. Pants are a nice mix of the products already in the market with their own input of DA guys. Pants are close fitting (but not some extreme slim fits) with good placement of the pockets. The waist is great: wide with wide belt loops, padded with fine mesh to decrease discomfort of duty belt. It also prevents pinch- ing and chaffing. The front closure is Velcro (reinforced with DA-logo styled thread), so it is completely flat. CLOTHING
