and maybe rougher. Perhaps it also boosts mechani-
cal resistance, but even without that, Carinthia jac-
kets from the Professional series are really rugged
and hard to beat.
The rest of the changes are actually minor details
that improve a good product and make it even better
- the hood adjustment don't snag anymore
Carinthia, as usual, showed that it can create a very
good product. Pay once and cry once, but the jacket
is worth it. 3.0 or 4.0; that is the question! If your MIG
3.0 is still in perfect
c o n d i t i o n
(and you have to try hard to beat it) and there is no
risk that you will have to hide from the night vision
goggles in your work, there is no point in replacing
the jacket.
Currently (end of December 2020) on the manufactu-
rer's website, MIG 3.0 has MSRP 239 EUR while 4.0
is 350 EUR. If you plan to use the jacket „in the real
world, where the targets at the shooting range can
shoot back" then safety is a priority and worth all the
money.
