Currently, the Ops-Core AMP headset is a most advan-
ced hearing protection and communication headset
already in service. The extremely modular design and
impressive audio quality and hearing protection ra-
ised the bar very high. I am looking forward to chec-
king out the upcoming ComTac VII, next generation of
Falcom headset and Galvion Sensys Comcentr2.
RAC IN USE – RABBIT
For the last few months I've been using the Ops-Core
RAC headset and IMHO the electronics onboard are
awesome. The audio is in fact three dimensional and
not as flat as in some older headsets. Pinpointing the
sound location in RACs is very easy – you just need
to ask someone to walk around you and talk. You will
know exactly where he or she is. The audio quality is
similar to professional audio headsets and not to mi-
litary gear. Electronics and algorithms are top notch.
