Options & Accessories The FAST SF are available in six colors: solid Black, Tan 499, Urban Grey, Foliage Green (flat paint with sand added for grainy effect) and in two camouflage patterns (hydro-dipped in Crye Precision Multicam and Mul- ticam Black). The FTHS helmets are also available in AOR1 and AOR2 patterns. There are multiple Velcro loop patches attached to the shell for the IFF markings, strobes, cameras and other equipment. The shape of the Velcro is not random – it was pre-cut to decrease their visibility in the night vision. The FAST Helmets are backward compatible with SOTR respirators, AMP, RAC and ComTac headsets, additional side protection parts, O2 masks attachments. Together with new helmets, three new mandibles were un- veiled and Step-In Visor. The main change in the mandibles is the rail attachment systems. In the previous version they were attached directly to the rail in two points and were taking some space which normally was used e.g. for flashlights. New mandibles are attached to the slot in the ARC Shim which is locat- ed under the side rail freeing additional space. FAST Ballistic Mandible is 9 mm FMJ rated and the FAST Composite Mandible was designed for impact protection and use with bikes or ATVs for additional protection against sand and rocks. The front part of the Composite Mandible might be pivoted for drinking or talking. Unfortunately, both of the mandibles can't be flattened as the legacy one were. The Force-on-Force mandible is a mesh and foam face shield for use during the realistic scenarios with marking rounds. It will protect face against the sims impacts. The most interesting piece is definitely a Step-In Visor which can be used with mandibles, respirators or just the helmets. It looks similar to the bal- listic goggles but it attaches directly to the front edge of the shell and to two rail-mounted attachments points. The retention bungees allow users to easily attach the ballistic helmet visor onto a helmet and can be adjust- ed and locked into place and attached to the helmet Velcro when not in use. Step-In has interchangeable lenses available in clear, smoke and hi- viz yellow. All the lenses are made from impact-rated polycarbonate and are scratch-resistant. Lenses are additionally coated to prevent scratches and fogging. For additional protection against the sand, dust or water, op- EQUIPMENT
