stock of both rifles might be replaced with AR-style stock as the Fabryka Broni offers an AR stock adapter which resembles the original buffer tube of AR-15 rifle (but it is just a hollow tube). It is com- patible with MIL-SPEC and COMM-SPEC tubes. The ba- sic version is fixed but there is also a side-folded version in the final stage of develop- ment (stay tuned for MSPO 2021 trade show). Handguards of the rifles are one-way compatible. The GROT 762N comes with full-length handguard with MIL-STD-1913 rails with the unique recessions in the rail parts to decrease the weight (same recessions are visible on the upper receiver rail). The handguard itself is similar to the extended handguard of 5.56 rifle but is slightly differ- ent shaped and more stable without any visible wobbling. Due to the design changes, the GROT 762N handguard cannot be installed on the 5.56 rifle, but the extended handguard of the 5.56 rifle might be installed on GROT 762N. The GROT 762N is a semi-automatic weapon and 5.56 GROT is available in both semi-automatic and se- lect-fire versions (military and law enforcement only) but ac- cording to engineers, they are able to deliver select-fire 7.62 rifles if necessary.
