117/DKWS So much history so let's move on to the uniform. On the first glance we can see it is more "modern" than previous models – it's more fitted, trousers are adapted to mount stiff knee pads, generally – PROGRESS. Fabric used is 50% nylon and 50% rip-stop cotton in Multicam camouflage by Crye Precision with IRR treatment (worldwide standard for uniform fabrics). When it comes to stitching – it's proper, stitches are straight and we haven't noticed any misplaced stitching whatsoever. Size chart is based on the system introduced by Crye Preci- sion: jackets are available in sizes from S-Short to XXL-XLong and trousers are available in sizes from 30S to 44XL, 2-inch difference between each size. To say it briefly: "I've seen it already somewhere" – uniform's cut is a mix of features previously seen in products of Ameri- can Crye Precision, Canadian Arc'teryx LEAF, Slovenian UF PRO and Polish SPECOPS. Let's move on to the description of each piece. TROUSERS 117/DKWS Trousers have a quite tight fit (but not as tight as popular CP G3 combat pants) and are definitely not as baggy as their ear- lier versions. The bottom is reinforced with a second layer of fabric which enhances durability of this area. Wide belt, with front Velcro closure, is padded so wearing trousers with a first line belt won't be uncomfortable. Fly is closed with an Alpha zipper. Five wide belt loops allow we- aring belts with width up to 55m. Here we can also find straps to adjust the trousers width. Crotch is gusseted which gives more maneuverability. There are 6 pockets in total: Ä Two regular, front, hip, slanted ones with bottom ed- ges reinforced with extra layer of fabric which prevents we- aring down; Ä Two thigh pockets closed with a flap with Canadian- -type buttons. Side pocket has two overlaps that increase the volume of it. At the bottom of each overlap are small drainage holes. Those pockets are doubled – it means that overlaps are also a second compartment which can be accessed by the ver- tical zipper in the first front overlap. www.fragoutmag.com
