PGZ GROUP Traditionally, the PGZ Group had the most comprehensive presentation of its offer arranged, during the MSP. Many new products were presented by the PGZ Group companies. HSW S.A. has been the most prominent of the entities, presenting vehicles such as the new Borsuk IFV, 120 mm RAK mortar module installed on an entirely-new tracked carrier platform, and an entirely new armored vehicle design developed for the artillery/rocket artillery units, to accommodate command and reconnaissance systems for the future Squadron-Level Fire Module (DMO, Dywizjonowy Moduł Ogniowy) of the 155 mm KRYL wheeled self-propelled howitzers, and in the 122 mm LANGUSTA rocket artillery squadrons. The carrier platform has been prepared jointly with the Czech TATRA Export company. It is also a universal base platform for specialist vehicles, designed for other branches of the military, SOF included (PEGAZ program). The basic variant can be managed by a crew of two, and it can also carry 6 fully equipped soldiers. The armor protects the crew from projectiles and fragmentation. The 4x4 vehicle presented, weighing 13 tonnes (gross vehicle weight can be as high as 18 tonnes), using the TATRA 815-7 drivetrain, can also feature cabin design changes - custom cabin layouts for future military applications can be implemented as well. Ultimately the platform is to be manufactured domestically, in Poland, by HSW. Certain production stages may also take place at the Sanok-based Autosan facility, co-owned by HSW and PIT-Radwar The PERUN system was also attracting a lot of attention - an unmanned support platform designed for mechanized units, jointly developed by the Military University of Technology, Stekop, and ZM Tarnów. The vehicle may be custom-tailored to meet the customer requirements, depending on the assigned mission. It may act as a fighting, reconnaissance, or logistics support platform. This land- based unmanned vehicle is armed with the A3C RCWS, featuring a 7.62, or 12.7 mm machine gun. The platform also features a GPS, a set of daytime and night vision cameras, an observation system, a gunshot detection system, a weather station, a contamination detector, a radiation detector, and a verbal communications system. PERUN may move autonomously, follow a pre- planned route, or it may be manually controlled, with the use of a stationary/ portable control panel. ZM Tarnów, meanwhile, showcased a new family of MWS-15 rifles - a detailed description of those is contained in a separate article in the current issue. The Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom factory showcased a broad range of new modules for the MSBS/GROT rifle. We also have described these in a separate article, in the current issue of the magazine. PSO Maskpol presented numerous new products, including new KKZ-01 plate carriers, KWM-02 vests, new ballistic plates, MP-6T panormaic gas mask (from TYTAN Polish future soldier program, and new headgear (also from TYTAN)), as well as new backpacks.
