correctly. The main part is the large
polymer body (or chassis) contain-
ing pistol grip with a huge trigger
guard, trigger group, controls, maga-
zine(s) assembly, barrel with piston
and charging handle. The front MIL-
STD-1913 railed handguard, aircraft
grade aluminum receiver with slide
and recoil spring and the rubber but
pad. All the parts are made from
polymers or lightweight metals, ex-
cept the stainless steel slide, bolt
carrier and the barrel and trigger
which are stainless steel.
Controls are very simple – trigger,
safety switch (cross bolt style), slide
stop, slider release lever, charging
handle, magazine unload button and
magazine rotation lever lock. TS12
is ambidextrous and most controls
are doubled or ergonomically placed
for both right- or left-hand shooters.
Magazines can be loaded from both
sides of the gun. The only exception
is the slide release lever which is
only on the right side of TS122. The
charging handle might be moved
from one side of the shotgun to an-
other without tools as it is attached
to a simple latch. The real problem
for southpaws is the direction of
shell extraction – the gun might be
