Lekka (Light Infantry) Lzejsza (Lighter Infantry) Leciutka (Featherlight Infantry) E very "league" started Saturday, 4th of June at 07:00. Time is counted right from the beginning – more na- vigation point competitors will find and shoot cour- ses of fire (as best as they can) the less penalties they will get for total time. For example, it looks like this: in Light there are 33 navigation points so the time is 33 x 120 = 3960 minutes. From those 3960 minutes we subtract the num- ber of found points, so for example let's say we find 15 of them and that gives us 3960 – (15x120) = 2160 minutes. From that we subtract time that was left for the navigation portion if so- mebody finished by Sunday morning at 06:00 (if finish was at 03:00 we subtract 180 minutes). Shooting tracks sare another time that was added to the overall time of navigation and tac- tical tasks combined. So, the more navigation points you find, do shooting courses as best as you can the better the time you have (better means less minutes). Simple, right? Not alone but with your partner, male or… female. I mentioned earlier about finding those navigation point in singular form what might be misunderstood, becau- se at Lekka Piechota competition you compete in two- -man (or woman) buddy teams, Nobody works alone, you shoot courses of fire in pairs, you look for those point in pairs and help each other in that misery, carrying that concrete hexagon. T wo shooting windows that take at least 30 minutes each and 8 hours of competition in total – it's one hour of shooting and 7 hours of land navigation be- tween points (that edition has 15 of them). Important information is that this formula does not require having suppressors and you don't have to carry hexagonal concrete blocks. L ekka Piechota is a tactical-themed shooting competition (but the tactical aspect refers only to good route planning and adequate approach to the courses of fire), are divided into the „leagues" F our shooting windows 30 mi- nutes each and 15 hours of competition in total with 23 navigation points to be found. Here suppressors are required – as well as carrying that concrete hexagon. I n this year, that formula lasted for almost 37 hours because it started Friday at 19:00 by moving some distance canoeing and doing reconnaissance tasks. Besides, four shooting windows on the first day, one at night and three courses of fire the next morning and 33 navigation points to complete. Don't you even forget about suppressors and that concrete hexagon. www.fragoutmag.com
