Day 3 early morning Day 3 morning fight continues and grows into fierce rivalry On the battlefield were still standing those who began earlier and will finish last. At the very moment we were finishing „Lighter" , those from „Light" had still 10 hours of competition. Through the night, some were sleeping, some were walking around and trying to find more po- ints. This night is decisive, if somebody was doing a good first day and following Saturday it is not the time to rest on our laurels because a place on the podium might be taken by a few minutes. Being fourth by two minutes will hurt… Around 05:30 competitors were starting to come at the shooting range to take part in three courses and du- els on the terms of classy steel target challenge but with more targets where some were for the rifle and some for the pistol – mostly firing at 170, 250 and 350 meters to the steel 15 cm plates. Duels were the last thing to do. Here the splinters and sparks were flying around. In our opinion it was a very good test for sheer will of fighting spirit – after a few dozens of competitions team vs team stand up against each other moving through eliminations and win the shoot off. Competition looks very differently when your opponent is right next to you and you see his progress. After emotional duels comes time for packing up gear and chance of clothes. Some people needed medical attention provided by GRM PCK from Bydgoszcz for having so many ticks. When the last shooting pair had finished, the hosts of the competition needed to sum up the scores which took one hour. Light ending of „Light Infantry„ Around 09:00 AM, Saturday 5th of June we announced the final winners. For the first place there were two plate carriers from Templar's Gear, for the second two pair of Oakley glasses from specshop.pl and to the last place on the podium two chest rigs from Husar. It's worth mentio- ning that next places in that league were getting GROT bayonets provided by Fabryka Broni "Łucznik" – Radom. After announcement of the final scores and giving pri- zes comes time for a few closing words. Borys has than- ked everybody that contributed to make this competition happen, everybody who took part as competitors to finally announce that next edition is in question. REPORT
