rent so civilian bolts even after using "military" lower receiver they will only allow to fire sin- gle shots. "Military" bolt carrier of STAG Tactical is made from 8620 tool steel with phosphate finish and the bolt itself is made from 158 tool steel. Typical fe- ature of STAG rifles is that they are going through noninvasive magnetic particles inspection so the buyer is assured that this critical and very important for the weapon functioning proper- ly the element does not have any hidden defects, so there is no risk of failure like broken bolt wings or cracked core. Front partof the bolt carries as well as gas key are chrome-lined for longer lifetime, they are harder to get dirty and at the same time are easier to clean after shooting, The charging handle is just basic - MIL-SPEC, non- -ambidextrous. Nothing fancy, nothing to make it easy to use. Same thing with the selector le- ver, single one sided with stan- dard military switch. The trigger guard is not milita- ry, because STAG Tactical uses Magpulpolymer trigger guard together with Magpul MOE Grip. Carbine uses an H buffer that runs on standard buffer springs all packed in MIL-SPEC buffer tube. On top of that buffer tube there is Magpul MOE SL Carbi- ne Stock. With the carbine there are no iron sights and no additional equipment except one magazi- ne, safety flag and – what's sur- prising – simple barrel nut key. STAG Tactical in use Easiest way would be to write that STAG Tactical sho- ots the same ways as STAG M4, because in reality it really is – they are all in all the same desi- gn, so the dif- ference is only with accessories. Before shooting I at- tached the ELCAN Spec- ter DR 1-4 optical sight on top of the rifle, which is an absolute triumph of form over content, because it costs the same as two rifles like that. Using that sight, I was able to fire sub-MOA grouping at 50 meters and 1 MOA group at 100 meters. It is quite a good score, especially noticing that I was using 55 gr Fiocchi ammunition - one that 1:7 rifle twist should not like – in theory. I think that using heavier ammunition mi- ght give better results but here except for a little spread there is nothing to complain about FIREARMS
