The agreements included the deliveries of solutions destined for the Rak company-level fire modules, Wisła and Narew air/missile defense programs, further batches of Jelcz 442 and 662 trucks, and optoelectron- ics for the soldiers - with a total value of more than PLN 4 bn. Back in June 2022, the Mesko S.A. company was awarded a contract from the Armament Agency, for delivery of Piorun MANPADS for the Polish Armed Forces. The agreement cov- ers the delivery of 3,500 missiles and 600 launch units. Piorun MANPADS turned out to be an export hit. In February this year, negotiation with the US DoD on the delivery of several hundred Piorun systems was successfully finalized. In September a contract was signed on delivery of 300 MANPADS and 100 launch units for the Armed Forces of Estonia. Back in November, an agreement was signed on the delivery of several hundred Piorun systems for the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Norway. In February 2023 Łucznik Radom Small Arms Factory and the {p;osj Armament Agency signed an annex to an agreement with a val- ue of 826 mln (gross), on extra deliveries of the MSBS Grot A2 rifles for the Polish Armed Forces. Further MSBS GROT 5.56 mm C16 FB-A2 rifles would be delivered to the Armed Forces, as the provisions of the annex specify, by the end of 2026. 88 thousand MSBS Grot rifles are expect- ed to be supplied within the said term. Apart from the rifles, the Armed Forces are also to acquire 250 Grot 762N sniper rifles, shooting the 7.62x51 mm NATO round - becoming the baseline sharpshooter weapon in the Polish Armed Forces. The agreement on the delivery of Bystra radars was signed on 29th March this year, by and between the PGZ-PILICA+ consortium, and the Armament Agency. Within the framework of the agreement, 22 radar sets, with a simulator and a training package, are to be delivered. The provisions of that agreement assume it is to be finalized by October 2028. The order has a value of almost 1.11 bn. zlotys. The head of the Armament Agency, Brig. Gen- eral Artur Kuptel Ph.D., on April 28th, acting on behalf of the treasury, and President of the Management Board at the PGZ Group, act- ing on behalf of the Pilica+ consortium, have signed a performance contract on delivery of 22 combined Pilica+ AAA/SAM systems for the Polish Armed Forces.
