AGT1500C turboshaft engine that makes it possible for
the platform to attain high top speed and good mobility in
any terrain. The latest variant also features its own APU.
The tank weighs 65-70 tonnes in a combat setting, depen-
ding on the solutions used on the platform.
Currently, the first vehicles (still in the M1A1 FEP variant)
are being tamed at the Brigade, during the crew, compa-
ny, and platoon integration process. The tank crews
are engaged in training on their own, without the
Americans being involved. The training is taking
place in an ongoing manner, and the WesoĊa unit's
infrastructure is used for that purpose. This cannot
be compared to field conditions, as live fire training
remains impossible, but there is enough space
