This year participants go through four tracks.
Track #1:
Vietnam
Standby position with sled straps already on the
competitor, rifle slung on the body without magazi-
ne attached and no round in the chamber, sidearm
holstered with magazine attached, empty chamber.
On the given signal, the shooter moves to a desi-
gnated point pulling the sled. After arrival, take sled
straps off and load the rifle with a magazine with 9
rounds, chamber the first one and go into the wo-
ods. Fire at the targets (clears the rifle checked by
the range master) and move on through water ob-
stacles by the designated path. After running the
distance, moves again into the woods and gets a
signal from the range master that he/she is able
to load a pistol and rifle. During movement on the
route, one is looking for and firing at any IDPA/
MINI IDPA targets depending on the kind of target
– ones for pistol and the others for rifle. During
that course 2-gun rules apply so no weapon can be
completely unloaded until finished, cannot shoot
behind so if you miss the target and move past it,
cannot go back.
Except working on the gun (aiming, taking shots)
there is an absolute obligation to put safety on your
weapon. No safety results in penalty (so called pro-
cedure). Pistols with settable safety must be enga-
ged. Shooters will be stopped and unable to finish
the course if he/she will exceed the time limit.
After the last target – timer stops and overall score
is counted by the range masters..
