FN M16A4 carbine disassembled into basic components FN M16A4 carbine trigger chamber FN15 Military Collectors M16 comes with Matech rear backup iron sights, KAC ver- tical front grip, single STANAG aluminum 30 rounds magazine and basic papers. As you can see, there are some differences be- tween FN15 and USGI M16A4, but I could say it's almost a 90% match. DOWNRANGE I had a chance to compare two FN15 "M16A4s" on the range, one with Trijicon ACOG TA-31 prism and other with Matech BUIS only. T h e y are doing extremely well. 20" barrel, mixed with rifle-length gas sys- tem, fixed full-size stock and almost 1-meter-long gun. Noth- ing can go wrong in such a build. It is almost "as it should be done by Stoner" rifle. You don't need to tune or change anything. Shooting is ultra-smooth. There is almost no recoil or muzzle rise. Think of shooting with beefed up air gun. When shooting on longer distance, we were able to get below 1 MOA at 100 me- ters distance. Surprisingly, best outcomes were achieved with 55 grain PMC and GGG rounds, even though 1:7 twist does not re- ally like the "lightweight" ammo. How has it performed? At 300 meters, with ACOG, the groups were approx. 120 mm (GGG) and 140 mm (PMC) in diameter. We were shooting from prone supported stance. With BUIS it was 160 mm group with GGG rounds. By the way, this BUIS is just brilliant. Smart and simple method of unfolding and folding, without any buttons, a very good quality viewfinder and a capital system of changing the distance setting.
