BL70 6000 lm Turbo 25-50 m BL70 RED 25-50 m BL70 600 lm 25-50 m IMALENT a stylish EDC set, especially if color- -matched. The charging port is on the side, near the display—this time, it is a univer- sal USB-C port protected by a rubber plug. The dimensions are 93.5 mm x 34.5 mm (head diameter is 28 mm) and the mass is 148g. The body is IPX-8 rated and drop-resistant from 1.5 meters. Power: The BL70 also features a built-in, non-replaceable 18650 Li-Ion battery with a declared 3000 mAh capacity (measured: 2585 mAh). The manufacturer claims a fast char- ge time of 1.5 hours. However, we achieved a full charge in 3 hours and 13 minutes—more than double the claim. The charger used provides 5W and is capable of supplying 2A, but the light only drew 0.82A. ŚWIECENIE Output: The BL70 uses the same XHP70 LED, but the light is dramati- cally different because it sits deeper within a smooth reflector (SMO). This creates a distinct, far-reaching hotspot and a large, well-defined spill that provides good surrounding illu- mination. The beam angle is approxi- mately 70°, offering a versatile blend of throw and flood. The color temperature is 5800 K (Low) to 6000 K (Max). This is cold but more neutral light. Average CRI is 73. The secondary emitter is an undisc- losed red LED. Declared range is 437 meters. Our measured output values were close to the manufacturer's cla- ims, though Low mode was around 20 lm (not 10 lm), and TURBO pe- aked at 5,200 lm (not 6,000 lm). The red light is a great addition, ty- pically used to preserve night vision, for signaling, or to deter insects. Whi- le the latter two functions are excel- lent, the red light's output is too high for tactical/night vision use. At 100 lm, it's a massive red floodlight that illuminates 30–35 meters, causing pupil constriction and compromi- sing night adaptation. It reveals your position more than the lowest white light mode. PWM is very smooth and flat. www.fragoutmag.com www.fragoutmag.com
