OF THE 5.0
GENERATION
All models of the 5.0 Series are based on the
proven G-LOFT SI insulation technology
in combination with CARINTHIA ISO MAPPING,
a zone-specic insulation distribution where
warmth is concentrated precisely where it is
needed. CARINTHIA SOF 2L is used throughout
as the outer material, which is windproof and
highly water-repellent, providing protection in
snow, wind, and adverse weather conditions.
During the revision, numerous details were opti-
mized: A new quilting design on the inside re-
duces cold bridges and ensures more even in-
sulation. The cuff closures were modied for
improved comfort and cold protection. Opti-
mized mesh inner pockets serve for warming
and drying gloves during operations. The MIG
and HIG models feature a new two-way front
zipper with wind guard and chin guard, enabling
additional freedom of movement when wearing
protective vests or plate carriers. All jackets
feature thermal eece-lined outer pockets.

LIG 5.0 – LIGHT INSULATION
GARMENT
The ultralight insulation jacket for highly active
operations down to minus 5°C. At 540 grams
weight and a pack size of 15 × 28 cm, it is the
most compact solution in the series. The new,
low-noise outer fabric is designed for tactical
applications. A soft inner collar made of ther-
mal eece, an adjustable hood, and integrated
wrist warmers provide thoughtful cold protec-
tion. Two large covered outer pockets with ther-
mal eece lining, a Napoleon inner pocket, and
an integrated storage pocket in the back offer
storage space. The jacket can be stowed in its
own inner pocket when needed. Available in
Olive, Black, and Urban Grey.
