Every Gen 6 model comes equipped with a factory flat-faced trigger. This solution
promotes better and more intuitive index finger placement. The trigger blade is also
located slightly closer to the grip, which allowed for a shortened travel. The action of the
trigger mechanism itself is much more pleasant than in previous generations—it works
smoothly with perceptible resistance, a crisp break, and a distinct, short reset.
While the trigger modules are not interchangeable between generations, there should be
no issues when replacing just the trigger shoe and bar. According to the manufacturer,
connectors from previous generations will also fit the new pistol.
