into the shooter's face—a critical feature when running suppressed. The Troy Patrol Rifle uses a Super Grade single-stage trigger with po- lished and Teflon-coated surfaces. This results in a module that main- tains a MIL-SPEC-like character but offers much smoother operation, a crisp break, and a lower pull we- ight than a standard military trig- ger. The trigger is protected by an enlarged polymer trigger guard. THE EXTRAS The rifle is precisely manufactured and well-fitted; the quality of the finishes leaves no room for com- plaint. That covers the rifle itself, but I previously raved about the XM177E2 accessories, right?. Well, things are just as substantial here. The muzzle features standard 1/2- 28 thread and comes a TROY Mo- dular Flash Suppressor featuring a characteristic nut. Underneath is a thread that allows for the attach- ment of the Kryptos muzzle device (regarded as one of the most suc- cessful designs). While not yet in the official catalog, word on the street is it will be available on the corrosion resistance. Every compo- nent of the BCG undergoes indivi- dual Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) to ensure structural integrity. The upper and lower receivers are 7075 T6 aluminum, finished with Type III hardcoat anodizing. Mi- litary classic, one might say. The buffer system features an original, two-piece steel buffer with a nitri- ded finish. Its proprietary two-piece construction is designed to reduce the rifle's felt recoil during firing. The buffer tube hosts a B5 SOP- MOD stock, which has become very popular recently as it offers signifi- cantly better cheek weld and com- fort, along with two storage tubes for items like flashlight batteries. The stock includes two QD sockets for sling attachment. The Troy pi- stol grip has an ergonomic profi- le with a grip angle similar to the standard A2, and it is made of hard, textured rubber to ensure a perfect interface whether using bare hands or gloves. TPR rifle is equipped with an am- bidextrous safety selector and an ambidextrous Troy Pneuma Char- ging Handle. This handle is profiled to seal the charging handle track in the upper receiver, preventing pro- pellant gases from blowing back zespół suwadła czoło zamka www.fragoutmag.com
