From the service workshop, the MORS
was promoted to the industrial service and
manufacturing company. The directions of these
changes were enforced by demand of the domestic
fleet for electronic devices. There were no domestic
manufacturer of the necessary equipment therefore
it had to be imported. In 1950 appeared the first
devices of the domestic production. They were
AA-2 car alarm and RK-1 concert broadcasting
s t a t i o n ,
and then keelboat receivers and an echo
sounder.The efforts of the MORS found recognition
in the eyes of the policymakers and the order of
the of the Minister of Navigation No. 51 of 14th
January 1953 to the profile of its business activity
was included a production of radio equipment and
accessories. The supervision over the enterprise
through the Central Management Board of the Ship
Repair Yards (Polish: Centralny Zarząd Stoczni
Remontowych) exercised a Minister of Navigation.
