From the manufacturing part of the MORS, a separate unit in the Ministry of Machinery Industry was created. However, fortunately this stage ended in 1971 when according to a decision of the contemporary Ministry of Machine-Building Industry of 27 January was set up an independent enterprise under a name RADMOR Radio Facility (Polish: Zakłady Radiowe RADMOR). Its task were described as "manufacturing activity in relation to mobile VHF-FM radio communication equipment and maritime electronics". An organizationally and territorially independent company entered in the period of its "maturity". The time of economic changes characteristic for the 1970s significantly decided about the future and development directions of the plant. New housing conditions and a modernization might be fully used due to a progress made in the industry, and scientific and manufacturing capabilities of electronics. Launching the Scientific and Manufacturing Centre of Semiconductors (and purchasing many licenses allowed for a significant change in acquiring semiconductor elements produced in our country. The demand for radio communication equipment for civil services increased, too – without an aureole of the "special purpose equipment". It was manufactured then a wide range of equipment which enabled realization of the communication systems for the differentiated group of receivers. A plant delivered more than 20 thousand devices annually. A firm, practically, monopolized a domestic market of the mobile land radio communication equipment. An exception was devices in the range of 300 MHz produced also in the "WAREL" plant in Warsaw. In the middle of that decade the "grayhammered" radio telephones of the first generation were replaced by different than current dark cherry casings, mobile transitory equipment of 3001 type. They were produced in the form of the unified blocks which enabled making radio telephone versions for every exploited frequency range, including "new" bands of 300 and 450 MHz. In parallel, a "transistorization" and miniaturization of the carried equipment was conducted. In this period one carried out also design projects on new maritime electronic equipment. One developed and began production of short series of modern communication receivers, echo sounders, radio armbands, and maneuver broadcasters. That equipment met the requirements of the international qualifying institutions and were exported to many countries, also as elements of the equipment of maritime units produced in the Polish shipyards. The economic priorities which were created centrally for the market production caused that a plant who desired to acquire necessary resources for further development and modernization had to launch production of the commercial equipment. In 1975 one decided to prepare and launch a production of the modern stereophonic radio broadcast receiver hi-fi class. The first model of this set called RADMOR 5100 was launched in 1977.
