In the light head there is a white Maxbright LED diode with output power of 55 lumens and three supporting 3mm Ultrabright LED diodes, available in different configurations, depending on the user's needs, also with diodes for illumination in the NIR range (Ultrabright diode combinations: 3xRED, 3xBLUE, 3xGREEN, 3xIR, R/B/IR, R/G/IR). A flexi-neck with a length of 1 inch on which is installed a light head with diodes, allows for easy change of a position in the range almost of entire 90°, in any direction. A flashlight weights about 47 gram – actually, it is not felt on the helmet. A flashlight is mounted on the ARC rail by inserting it into the inside part of the rail, and then it should be adjusted in the chosen position what is facilitated by a ball catch from the bottom of the mounting. Generally, a flashlight assembled like this is stable and there is no danger of falling out while exploited normally, however large overloads or speed (e.g. when jumping with a parachute) can lead to its ejecting from the rail. To avoid this, a flashlight should be locked by screwing a tap bolt beneath a battery chamber which cooperates with appropriate cuttings in the ARC rail.
