FIREARMS The SFP9 is a fully ambidextrous pistol, the controls are doubled: there are left and right slide release levers, differing in shape considerably, and the magazine release is a HK-specific flapper on both sides of the trigger guard. All of these are low-profile to avoid snagging and make it easily presentable form concealed carry. There are no manual safeties in the pistol, only internal automatic safeties. The only safety element visible from outside is the Glock-style drop safety in the trigger. The SFP9's slide is massive, with large, easily-grasped deep cocking grooves on both ends. Additionally, the slide has two plastic „wings" protruding from the slide sides, giving gloved hand a better purchase. These can be taken off after the rear sight is removed – flat inserts are to be available with the series production model for those who would prefer the slide flush. The sights of the SFP9 are large and clear, fitted with three white luminescent dots. The rear plate has a hole acting as cocking indicator. There is also a MIL-STD-1913 rail under the barrel for attaching tactical flashlights or laser pointers. The size is practically similar to the full size Glock 17, but the barrel is only 104 mm long, which means it is just 2 mm longer than the compact G19! The rounds are fed from metal-cased P30-family 15-round magazines. SFP9-SF?
