THE COMPANIONS IN SEASICKNESS
During the contracts we frequently meet the whole cross-section of the various man-characters, races, and behaviours. We are
very often frustrated due to the unwillingness of our colleagues to maintain hygiene or the "meal charges" on the larger platforms.
Unfortunately, eating our food supply hidden in the refrigerator by our companions is nothing so exceptional… It is applied, as in
any other area of life, one rule already mentioned somewhere– when you do not know how to behave, behave as a man. Certainly,
not many persons will notice when you acting normal, but many will recall when you behave like a POS. During contract, internet
connection is available, so news are spreading quickly, and the other will have at their disposal an evaluation of your behaviour
before you arrive to the next port.
Usually, on the platforms, i.e. the ships-hotels, between the transits awaiting time ranges from a few days to a month (depending
on a contract, but a payment is usually the same as during securing a ship). The cabins are assigned to the teams so we should stick
to "our team". The other situation is in the mess hall where the nations join in their own sub-groups.
The platforms are hired by the various firms involved in the maritime security so it is worth to ask them about the work conditions,
salary rates, etc., however we recommend to be very careful in trusting in all what could be presented to us.
