Manufactured in 2005 on the request of the
Boeing corporation, during the first years it
served to transport the members of it's ma-
nagement board. When exchanged for a
bigger model (Challenger 605) it was rebu-
ilt and adjusted to the role of the MSA de-
monstrator. Among modifications, following
should be mentioned: radar station assem-
bly under the fuselage with the AESA radar,
additional radars for the communication
systems or the electronic reconnaissance
systems. Inside the fuselage space was
managed for three kits of the operator pa-
nels. Some parts of VIP business compart-
ment was left. Certainly, a current shape is
not the final– according to the declarations
of the Boeing representatives, the mission
required equipment itself (developed for the
larger P-8 Poseidon) may be installed in the
aircraft of any type, end-user can also use
others (optional) accessories, which cause
that the MSA may become a true mini-Po-
seidon, which can besides the patrol and
reconnaissance tasks can fulfil a role of
the submarine hunter or cooperate with the
UAVs.
