A set of the sights has dimensions: 134 x 68.5 x 85 mm and weight approximately 400 g. CKD-1 is installed to the MIL-STD-1903 accessory rails with two rail grabbers – this connection is supposed to ensure a repeatability of an installation. The sight operating temperaturs are: +50°C (increased limited temperature +60°C) and –35°C (decreased limited temperature –40°C). The body of the CKD-1 is painted with a black stove varnish, however ultimately the sights will be probably manufactured in a few color schemes. There are also considered variants of developing a silicone "case" for a sight (a prototype of such a "cover" was presented during demos in 2014, but we received the sight for tests without such a "case') or coating the sights with a optional water transfer camouflage film, depending on the request. In order to improve concealment, the lenses are covered with an anti-reflective coating, and the lenses are fitted into a casing so that a risk of reflections is reduced. Moreover, a CKD-1 sight has honeycomb-style front lens cover, which effectively eliminates a possibility of creating reflections on the lens and reduces possibility of detecting a shooter. OPTICS
