ADJUSTMENS: The tuning knobs are protected
with caps. It is a great advantage that caps are
fixed permanently with a metal string. This what
usually drops on the grass and one had to look
for it for hours, here will not fall down – one got
rid of problem. Regrettably, these tuning knobs
have also their disadvantages. The first of them is a
calibration. Admittedly, it is on the tuning knob, but
did not find any waypoint. Moreover, one would
need a marking if one click is 1 MOA, 1/2MOA or
perhaps 1/4MOA (unluckily, we were not given a
user manual...). The next issue is associated with
mechanics of the tuning knob – it works with a big
resistance, and a characteristic click is not tacticle,
when you wear gloves it is almost unnoticeable.
ILLUMINATION: the first thing which is blatantly
obvious is a tuning knob which allows for a level
of illumination. A scale is on the framework, and
an indicator on the tuning knob. I admit that it
took me a lot of time to find that tiny calibration
mark… Maybe, it would be better to put this
mark in the same place as a fixing bolt? The
illumination itself works well. The reticle is clear
and readable. Probably, I would add some modes
of the low illumination level, but it is rather more
my willingness than a design error.
